Section
1.
Section
331.301,
Code
2020,
is
amended
by
adding
1
the
following
new
subsection:

NEW
SUBSECTION
.
18.
A
county
shall
not
adopt
an
ordinance,
3
motion,
resolution,
or
amendment
imposing
any
requirement
to
4
obtain
a
permit
or
license
for
an
eligible
business
operated
5
on
an
occasional
basis
for
no
more
than
eighty-nine
days
in
a
6
calendar
year
by
a
person
or
persons
under
the
age
of
eighteen.
7
For
purposes
of
this
subsection,
“eligible
business”
means
a
8
business
that
a
person
or
persons
under
the
age
of
eighteen
is
9
not
otherwise
prohibited
by
law
from
operating.

Sec.
2.
Section
364.3,
Code
2020,
is
amended
by
adding
the
11
following
new
subsection:

city

a

license
for
an
eligible
business
operated
on
an

for

the

eighteen.
For
purposes
of

this
subsection,
“eligible
business”
means
a
business
that
a

person
or
persons
under
the
age
of
eighteen
is
not
otherwise

prohibited
by
law
from
operating.

constitute

with

the

the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
limits
the
authority
of
a
county
or
city
to
adopt

an
ordinance
imposing
a
requirement
to
obtain
a
permit
or
25
license
for
an
eligible
business
operated
for
no
more
than
89
26
days
in
a
calendar
year
by
a
person
or
persons
under
the
age
of
27
18.
The
bill
defines
“eligible
business”
to
mean
a
business
28
that
a
person
or
persons
under
the
age
of
18
is
not
otherwise
29
prohibited
by
law
from
operating.
