APPROPRIATION.
There
is
appropriated
from
the
general
fund
of

the
state
to
the
office
of
long-term
care
ombudsman
for
the

fiscal
year
beginning
July
1,
2020,
and
ending
June
30,
2021,

the
following
amount,
or
so
much
thereof
as
is
necessary,
to
be

used
for
the
purposes
designated:

salaries,
support,
administration,
maintenance,
and

purposes,
and
for
not
more
than
the

portion
of
the
funds
appropriated
in
this
section
shall

reinstate
the
payment
of
travel
expenses
for
local

care
ombudsmen.

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
relates
to
and
makes
an
appropriation
from
the
18
general
fund
of
the
state
to
the
office
of
long-term
care
19
ombudsman
for
FY
2020-2021.
The
bill
provides
that
a
portion
20
of
the
funds
appropriated
are
to
be
used
to
reinstate
payment
21
of
travel
expenses
for
local
long-term
care
ombudsmen.
