inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
provides
that
persons
employed
as
a
public

safety
telecommunicator
that
are
not
otherwise
a
member
of
11
the
retirement
system
in
Code
chapter
97A
or
411
are
included
12
within
the
protection
occupation
category
of
the
Iowa
public
13
employees’
retirement
system.
