H.F. 81 Section 1. REPEAL. Section 1.18, Code 2017, is repealed. 1 Sec. 2. REPEAL. Section 4.14, Code 2017, is repealed. 2 EXPLANATION 3 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 4 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 5 This bill repeals the Iowa English language reaffirmation 6 Act, which provides that English is the official language of 7 the state of Iowa.
