1.
Section
321I.10,
subsection
3,
Code
2017,
is

amended
to
read
as
follows:

Cities
may
designate
streets
under
the
jurisdiction
of

cities
within
their
respective
corporate
limits
,
including
4
primary
road
extensions
with
a
speed
limit
of
fifty-five
5
miles
per
hour
or
less
over
which
a
city
exercises
concurrent
6
jurisdiction
pursuant
to
section
306.4,
which
may
be
used
for
7
the
operation
of
registered
all-terrain
vehicles
or
registered
8
off-road
utility
vehicles.
In
designating
such
streets,
the
9
city
may
authorize
all-terrain
vehicles
and
off-road
utility
10
vehicles
to
stop
at
service
stations
or
convenience
stores
11
along
a
designated
street.

inclusion

does

constitute
agreement
with

the

the
members

Under
current
law,
cities
may
designate
streets
under

their
jurisdiction
and
within
their
respective
corporate

limits
to
be
used
for
the
operation
of
all-terrain
vehicles
or

off-road
utility
vehicles.
This
bill
specifies
that
a
city
may
19
designate
a
primary
road
extension
with
a
speed
limit
of
55
20
miles
per
hour
or
less
over
which
the
city
exercises
concurrent
21
jurisdiction
pursuant
to
Code
section
306.4
to
be
used
for
the
22
operation
of
all-terrain
vehicles
or
off-road
utility
vehicles.
