H.F. 433 Section 1. Section 321I.10, subsection 3, Code 2017, is 1 amended to read as follows: 2 3. Cities may designate streets under the jurisdiction of 3 cities within their respective corporate limits , including 4 primary road extensions with a speed limit of fifty-five 5 miles per hour or less over which a city exercises concurrent 6 jurisdiction pursuant to section 306.4, which may be used for 7 the operation of registered all-terrain vehicles or registered 8 off-road utility vehicles. In designating such streets, the 9 city may authorize all-terrain vehicles and off-road utility 10 vehicles to stop at service stations or convenience stores 11 along a designated street. 12 EXPLANATION 13 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 14 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 15 Under current law, cities may designate streets under 16 their jurisdiction and within their respective corporate 17 limits to be used for the operation of all-terrain vehicles or 18 off-road utility vehicles.
