requires

county

nominated

nonpartisan
basis.

bill
establishes
a
county

primary
election
for

nomination
of
nonpartisan
county

officers
to
the
general
election
ballot.
The
county
primary

election
is
required
to
be
administered
concurrently
with
the

primary
election,
as
provided
for
in
the
bill.
Under
the
bill,

the
number
of
candidates
to
be
nominated
at
the
county
primary

election
is
required
to
be
twice
the
number
of
officers
to

be
elected
to
a
particular
office
at
the
general
election.

The
candidates
receiving
the
greatest
number
of
votes
in
the

county
primary
election
are
nominated
and
entitled
to
have
the

name
printed
on
the
official
ballot

election,

the
bill,
nonpartisan
candidates
for
county
office

nonpartisan
candidates

extended

rights

bill

makes
corresponding
changes,
