the
criminal
penalty
from
an
aggravated

misdemeanor
to
a
class
“C”
felony
if
computer
data
is
accessed

that
contains
a
confidential
record,
a
trade
secret,
or

operational
or
support
data
of
a
public
utility,
rural
water

district,
municipal
utility,
or
public
airport.

The
bill
increases
the
criminal
penalty
from
a
serious

misdemeanor
to
a
class
“D”
felony
if
computer
data
is
copied,

altered,
or
deleted.

The
bill
increases
the
criminal
penalty
from
a
simple

misdemeanor
to
an
aggravated
misdemeanor
for
