APPROPRIATION.
There
is
appropriated
from
the
general
fund

of
the
state
to
the
road
use
tax
fund
for
the
fiscal
year
3
beginning
July
1,
2015,
and
ending
June
30,
2016,
the
following

amount,
to
be
used
for
the
purposes
designated:

Notwithstanding
section
312.2,
312.3,
312.3C,
or
312.3D,
or

any
other
provision
to
the
contrary,
the
moneys
appropriated

pursuant
to
this
section
shall
be
used
for
construction,
9
reconstruction,
and
improvement
projects
on
roads
and
bridges
10
within
the
secondary
road
system.
The
treasurer
of
state
shall
11
distribute
the
amount
appropriated
under
this
section
for
12
deposit
in
the
secondary
road
funds
of
the
counties
on
an
equal
13
basis.

EXPLANATION
15
The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
16
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
appropriates
$99
million
from
the
general
fund
18
of
the
state
to
the
road
use
tax
fund
for
FY
2015-2016
for
19
construction,
reconstruction,
and
improvement
projects
on
roads
20
and
bridges
within
the
secondary
road
system.
The
bill
directs
21
the
treasurer
of
state
to
distribute
the
$99
million
to
each
22
county
equally.
