H.F. 173 Section 1. OFFICE OF LONG-TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN —— 1 APPROPRIATION. There is appropriated from the general fund 2 of the state to the office of long-term care ombudsman for 3 the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, and ending June 30, 4 2016, in addition to any other appropriations made for the same 5 purpose for the same fiscal year, the following amounts, or 6 so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purpose 7 designated: 8 For salaries, support, administration, maintenance, and 9 miscellaneous purposes: 10 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 220,000 11 Sec. 2. DEPARTMENT ON AGING —— APPROPRIATION —— STATE 12 OFFICE OF SUBSTITUTE DECISION MAKER. There is appropriated 13 from the general fund of the state to the department on aging 14 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, and ending June 15 30, 2016, in addition to any other appropriations made for the 16 same purpose for the same fiscal year, the following amounts, 17 or so much thereof as is necessary, to be used for the purpose 18 designated: 19 For the state office of substitute decision maker: 20 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 150,000 21 EXPLANATION 22 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 23 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly. 24 This bill appropriates funds from the general fund of 25 the state for state fiscal year 2015-2016 to the office of 26 long-term care ombusdman ($220,000) and to the department on 27 aging to be used for the state office of substitute decision 28 maker ($150,000).
