NEW SECTION . 99G.9B Limited series of lottery 1 games to benefit anti-littering and beautification programs. 2 The chief executive officer, in consultation with the board, 3 shall develop and conduct one additional instant scratch and 4 one additional pull-tab lottery game annually to provide moneys 5 for the benefit of anti-littering and beautification programs. 6 The moneys received from the sale of tickets for each lottery 7 game shall be deposited in a special account in the lottery 8 fund. Notwithstanding section 99G.39, after payment of the 9 prizes, the remaining moneys shall be transferred to the keep 10 Iowa beautiful fund established pursuant to section 314.28. 11 EXPLANATION 12 This bill provides that the chief executive officer of the 13 lottery authority shall develop and conduct one additional 14 instant scratch and one additional pull-tab lottery game 15 annually for the benefit of anti-littering and beautification 16 programs. Moneys received from the games, less prizes, shall 17 be transferred to the keep Iowa beautiful fund established 18 pursuant to Code section 314.28.
