EXPLANATION
15
This
bill
modifies
the
purposes
for
which
physical
plant
and

equipment
levy
(PPEL)
funds
may
be
used
by
school
districts.

The
bill
expands
the
authorized
uses
of
the
funds
to
include

the
purchase
of
computers
and
computer-related
equipment;
19
payment
of
technical
support,
including
contractual
support
20
and
in-house
technical
support
training;
and
purchase
of
21
transportation
equipment
parts
essential
to
the
operation
of
22
such
transportation
equipment.
