H.F. 2058 Section 1. NEW SECTION . 249A.30B Home and community-based 1 services waiver —— elderly —— reimbursement. 2 The reimbursement for a provider of services under a medical 3 assistance program home and community-based services waiver 4 for the elderly shall be recalculated annually on July 1. The 5 annual inflation factor applied shall be determined based on 6 the total skilled nursing facility market basket index utilized 7 by the centers for Medicare and Medicaid services of the United 8 States department of health and human services. 9 EXPLANATION 10 This bill requires the reimbursement for providers of 11 services under a medical assistance home and community-based 12 services waiver for the elderly to be recalculated annually 13 on July 1.
