Yes please support this bill! Reading through the bill reminded me of the curriculum I grew up with over 30 years ago. Amazing what teaching Marxism through common core has done in the meantime. Add this bill to many more to upend common cores poor standards that leave room from Marxism to squeeze in..

We have removed God and the Pledge of allegiance from our schools and we wonder why we have so many issues in our schools, from bullying, gender confusion, and mental health issues. It is time to get back to showing and sharing our love for God and Country. If we can not do this, then how can we love our fellow students, teachers and schools. Please advance this bill. Thank you and God Bless.

Thank you for this opportunity to share my thoughts about the need for students to learn and understand the basis of our country. The study of social studies and American Government can help to develop loyal, intelligent, cooperative, wellrounded, and wellbalanced citizens. Future voters need to have a solid grasp on the functions of government, why it works to include all citizens, and each individual's part in maintaining our freedom, especially our Constitutional rights, civil rights, and responsibilities.

This is an excellent bill! Line by line it is full of American values and truth that is totally void of DEI and identity garbage. Taught and implemented by quality Americanminded educators in every school, the quality substance offered in this bill will produce quality students for years to come. It is a great start/step to begin healing from the indoctrination of Wokeism. Please move the bill forward! Thank you with much gratitude to the subcommittee and the sponsors that brought this to all students!

This bill promotes and integrates the true history back in the class room. This should also be required to pass citizenship test. Our future is with our children. If they don't learn the true meaning of freedom granted by God and written by our founding fathers, our rights will be lost forever.

I support this bill and believe it is essential to teach our children and our youth the true history of the United States. We are the most free country in the world and only through knowledge of this foundation of understanding of our founding, the founding fathers and the constitution being taught can we continue to be the strong nation under God we were meant to be. We must keep our republic for the next generation and its essential to pass the desire to keep our republic to the next generation through teaching accurate and unbiased history in our schools.

I support this bill. It is important for all citizens to understand and appreciate the history and founding of their country and its most important origin documents. These topics used to be considered important to our education, and we need to go back to this.

As I read through this bill I thought much of this is material that I was taught over 50 years ago when I was in my local public school. What happened that it is not being taught? This is basic history and civics that every American High school graduate should have knowledge of.Please pass this bill.

I support this bill Today for Social Studies curriculum in 8th grade and Indian Hills WDM is Ibram X Kendi's book "Stamped". This author believes: "The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination." p.19 "How To Be An Antiracist" Ibram X Kendi. I would contend even using "Stamped" in 8th grade is a violation of HF802.
