Participation in the Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission is an important step in bringing the many benefits of passenger rail to Iowa. It is especially important while the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds are still available. I ask the sub committee to approve and move this bill on to the transportation committee and onto the floor for a vote.
