Please move forward HF 2108 about clearing the waiting lists for Medicaid waivers for people with disabilities. As a person with a disability myself clearing the waiting list and increasing reimbursement rates so that providers are able to afford to work in this industry is very important. I just got off the waiting list late 2023 but haven't started cdac services because no agency is taking on new clients due to shortages of staff due to them not being able to afford to work as home health aids. I was on the waiting list since Jan 2019. Neighboring states like MN have reduced their waiting lists to a few months.
